Call of the Wild - Scenes of Buck's Journey #4-5

Students should now be familiar with acting out a scene using tableau, a frozen, non-verbal style of performing art in which body language, poses, and facial expressions are used to communicate to the audience. At home, Thursday and Friday, students should read excerpts 4 and 5. Be prepared to participate in a 4th and 5th iteration of the tableau exercise with your classmates on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Unofficial Bonus Points: Locate the chapter where each of these excerpts lives in Call of the Wild. Make a list of words/phrases you find in both chapters that invoke the imagery of the change Buck is experiencing. E.g. lurking, delight, chattering, etc.
