From God+For God


  1. Psalm 145:8 “The LORD is gracious and kind.” 


The Bible says God is kind to us all the time. 


What God’s Kindness is Like 


  1. Titus 3:4-5 “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,...”


  1. 1. God is gentle with us. 
  2. 2. God helps us even when we mess up.
  3. 3. God’s kindness is a gift. 


God is kind even when we don’t deserve it. 


God Show Us Kindness Through Jesus


  1. Matthew 11:28 “ Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” 


  1. 1. Jesus welcomed people. 
  2. 2. Jesus helped people who were hurting. 


Jesus never pushed people away who came to Him.


Our Kindness Back to God


  1. Romans 2:4 “ God’s kindness leads us to repentance.” 


  1. 1. When God is kind, we say “thank you” by obeying Him.
  2. 2. We show kindness to God by listening and trusting Him


We are kind back to God when we follow Him. 


Call to Action


  1. This week, thank God for His kindness.

  3. 2. Obey quickly
  4. 3. Trust God when things are hard.

Prayer:


Lord, thank you for your kindness toward me. Thank you that you help me even when I mess up. Help me to kind toward you by obeying you and trusting you in all circumstances.
