In this lesson, students will begin studying face proportion drawing as part of Unit 5: Form & Figure.
We will learn how artists draw the human face using simple shapes and basic proportions.
Students will practice drawing faces in their sketchbooks using graphite pencils and light shading to help figures look more three-dimensional. Most of the class will be dedicated to guided studio practice with teacher support.
This is a fully in-class lesson with no homework.
