Overall Satisfaction
Very Satisfied
What has been most important for your student's success this year?
We loved having other teachers besides me teaching our boys. They enjoyed class days and making friends
What aspects of the school have contributed most to your student's growth?
I feel like all areas! Academically they're learning lots. I love theyre learning more about the Bible and that timeline. Socially- making friends and learning to work with others. All areas!
Areas where student felt most supported
Academic Instruction Classical Curriculum Teacher Communication Spiritual Formation Community Culture Organization Logistics Parent Support

Beginning of Year

What do you wish you had known at the beginning of the year?
Maybe a better idea of the various fees we encountered at the beginning, besides registration and tuition. It might be helpful for new families to also know theyre going to spend around $100/student on uniforms, as well as an average cost for curriculum. So families can plan for those over the summer.
Areas that were clear from the start
Academic Expectations Home Learning Behavior Expectations School Culture
What was unclear or confusing at the start?
How the full and core students would be handled differently, but it looks like that wont be an issue next year

At-Home Learning

How prepared did you feel to support at-home learning?
Prepared
Areas where you felt most prepared

Support

What support from the school has been most helpful?
The LMS is great. And while all the various chat groups can become overwhelming, (especially when you're in a lot!) Its probably the best option for now. I know there are several similar apps like Band, Discord, and Slack that could work, but GroupMe seems sufficient
What additional support would be helpful?
I'm not sure. We have our own at home challenges where my oldest requires the majority of my time and focus. I often run out of capacity to do much for the other two. Looking forward to having my oldest in Upper School next year on opposite days than my other two.

Maybe opportunities for extra drop off/tutoring could be nice.

How well does the workload balance with family life?
Well

Looking Ahead

What should we continue to strengthen?
Identify needs of specific students and maybe offering extra tutoring or study hall time. Which we might have the option for with Upper School next year
What's one area we could improve?

Additional comments
Maybe an opportunity for uniform swaps for families before anyone purchases new item.
