At times has struggled with anxiety - specifically around state testing in public school, wanting to perform well, or being made fun. Listening to him, prayer and reminders of Truth help him. He has also been diagnosed with ADHD. He has never had a IEP or 504. He has learned to manage, get his work done, and pull all A's most quarters.
Extracurricular Activities
Andrew loves LEGOs. He also loves making story lines, creating characters, and making stop motion movies with LEGOs. He loves books including Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and more drawn towards fantasy storylines. Andrew also really loves to sing and act. He's been in the choir at school and has been taking vocal lessons. He has served on the Leadership Team and Academic Team at school.
Talents & Interests
He is very creative. He's a great storyteller through stop motion and creative thinking.

Josiah was born with a limb difference and is missing his right hand. He has had a 504 plan at school to give him extra time on any typed assignments. I don't see that being a problem at this school. He said he doesn't really use it at school right now anyway. He's figured out typing with one hand and his nub.
At times at school he will need some help opening things etc. Anything that might take two hands to open etc. But in general he figures out a way to do what everyone else does - just a bit differently.
In Elementary school we used to give teachers the book "Different is Awesome" a book about a limb difference child(Excellent book). It helped break the ice with smaller kids and help them understand how God makes people differently and that it's awesome.

Extracurricular Activities
Josiah loves animals and really enjoys playing with our family dog, Bella. He also loves to play on the Switch 2 - Minecraft and Mario Cart World are two of his favorites. He's participated in the Leadership Team at school and also the Academic Team. He has been on the Archery Team at school the last three years and has gotten very good at shooting a bow with one hand. He's played soccer in the past and is very athletic.
Talents & Interests
Josiah has more grit and determination than anyone I know. He's very competitive.
