Both of the girls were born addicted to substances and were diagnosed with NAS at birth (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome), however Willow was significantly more impacted and has experienced more developmental delays. In her early years she was followed by a Special Infant Care Clinic and received PT, OT, feeding therapy, and speech. She has come so far and now is only in OT weekly. Academically and sensory-wise she can fatigue quicker than typical and can get overstimulated or distracted in certain environments. Socially, she does well and loves to play with other kids and has a very loving heart.
Extracurricular Activities
She also loves to play outside, loves to help cook in the kitchen, dancing, and any kind of building/open ended play.
