Color Harmony Project (In Class)

In-Class Plan:

This week students will bring their completed 6 planning sketches for the 3-Line Composition Project.

Each student will choose their favorite sketch and transfer it onto a large sheet of paper.

Using their selected color harmony, they will paint the composition in class.

Students will have 20 minutes of focused class time to complete their large-scale composition. If time allows, they may also complete any unfinished color wheel work.

Assignment:

• Bring in your 6 completed 3-line composition sketches.
• Select your favorite sketch and paint it on a large sheet of paper in class.
• Apply your chosen color harmony carefully.
• If you finish early, complete or touch up your color wheel.
• Finished paintings will be presented next week on 9/24.
