Color Harmony Project (In Class)

In-Class Plan:

Students will arrive prepared with their 6 completed 3-Line Composition sketches.

Each student will select the strongest composition and scale it up onto a large sheet of paper.

Using their planned color palette, they will paint their final project during class.

Students will have 20 minutes of studio time to complete their large-scale composition.

Any unfinished color wheel work may also be completed during this time.

Assignment:

• Bring in your 6 completed 3-line composition sketches.
• Choose your best composition and transfer it to a large sheet of paper.
• Paint your composition with your chosen color harmony, demonstrating planning, intentionality, and craftsmanship.
• If time remains, complete or refine your color wheel.
• Final painted compositions will be presented on 9/24, alongside student narration of their palette choices.
