IEW Unit 2 (W2) Homework

In Class Today: September 8th.

Students learned to make a rough draft from our KWO, how to use LY-adverb and Who/which clause in our Source Text "Disgusting or a Delicacy".

Homework: September 9th

1. Write a Rough Draft:
2. Using ONLY the KWO from "Disgusting or a Delicacy” students should turn each line into a full sentence.
3. “Dress Up” the paragraph with one -ly adverb (use the list on page 71) by choosing a verb to modify. Ex: The boy slowly walked past my house.
4. “Dress Up” the paragraph with one “who/which” clause by finding a noun and adding more information about the noun. Ex: the boy, who loved cats, walked past my house.
5. Use the checklist on page 25 to edit the rough draft.
6. Type the Final Draft, print, then underline one (1) -ly adverb and one (1) who/which clause per paragraph.

Bring Final Copy to class on Wednesday be prepared to read it to the class.
