Math: Addition page 95 teachers guide
Whole Group: Telling additional stories. Model telling and listening an addition story and model showing the students how to use counters to represent the story. For example Sally has 3 pigs, she gets 2 birds from the store. How many animals does she have in all. Students will use counters to represents.
Activity: Have each student come up and (with teachers help) create an addition story for the students to represent using counters.
