Assignment Description
Math: Addition, Intro to Addition Part 3. Pg. 93 teacher’s guide
Whole Group: Model creating number sentences using a number line. For example if a number starts at 3 and goes 2 more spaces, you end at 5. Model writing the number sentence 3 +2 = 5.
Activity: Have each student come up and roll a dice. Have them put a dot on the number line of the number on the dice. Have them roll another dice and move that many spaces on the number line. Model writing the number sentence on the board and have each student say the sentence.
