Assignment Description
The students will be learning the many ways we write the phoneme /R/. We will teach the sentence "Her hurt bird (eats) worms early." When we get to the spelling lists we will reference the sound by saying "/er/ the /er/ of her" or "/ir/ the /ir/ of bird."
We also introduce the phonemes /ee/, /th/, /sh/, /wh/.
