Pp 22-23 are the Let's Talk About "Scientific Measurement and Units" which we will address more in our first lab.

Ch 2 pp 27-33 covers an introduction to chemistry in biology, including the naturally occurring States of Matter (Solid, Liquid and Gas) on Earth, atoms and elements, the periodic table and the six critical organic elements necessary for life.
