Assignment Description
Lesson: Two Ways to Count (Teachers guide)
Whole Group: Use Tallys on the board to show 10 and a #. (whole group together) (page 11) model saying each 10 and # both ways.
Activity: Have students see a “10’s and number visual on the board” and have them write the number on their own white board. Give each student a turn to say the number both ways; ex. Write 10 and 2 on the board, students would write 12. Students would say "10 and 2 is 12."
