Spelling Word List Practice

Review words taught in class Thursday along with the markings, jobs, and rules that go along with them. mad, made, her, boat, like. Point to the word and have them say it. Have them explain the markings that it needs and why. If they don't remember, explain/reintroduce that word. It is going to take teacher and parent teamwork for them to get the hang of it. :)You can also dictate the words to your student and have them write it from memory using the correct markings. Review List A and B words as well!I made my own flashcards to review in class with, I recommend doing this for at home practice!You can continue to just use the individual lists and point to the words as well, having them practice writing a few of them every week!You can find each full spelling list with and without markings under the Literacy Essentials tab in resources if you haven't already printed them out!
