Assignment Description

Continue to practice phonemes at least 15 minutes a day.

Have your student say all of the sounds of the phoneme as you point.

Have your student practice writing the phoneme from memory as you say all of it's sounds(do not use it's letter name).

You can now add in a few new 2-letter phonemes on the worksheet as well:

th, or, ar, ee, wh, ow, oo

New from list C are: oa, ou, & er

New from List D: ay, ck, ie, ea, ai

New from List E: ey, ed, aw, oe

New from list F: ng, ch, sh

New from List G: ur, tch, ir

New from List H: ear, oy

New from List I: igh, eigh

New from List J: ph


This concludes our phoneme practice for the year!

Your kindergartner will be equipped and ready for the rest of the phonemes that will be introduced in first grade!
