Sentence Writing Practice

The students have been practicing sentences for a few weeks now. The goal is for them to be comfortable and accurate, which takes practice. In class, i will write words from the current spelling list on the board and generate a topic that would use those words. For example, 2C uses words that have to do with a water, boats, and the coast. The prompt could be "write sentences about Captain John and his boat." Time permitting, they have 10 minutes to just write. Then, go back and check.
