Grammar practice: Have students write and say sounds together of missed sounds from Monday’s phoneme practice. If none were missed, pick random ones to review. Only spend 15 minutes on this! It should be succinct, and incorporate multisensory techniques. Writing and saying the sounds is a basic tool for this!

Use yesterday’s introduced words from List D part 2 Say each word and have the students repeat after you and identify the sounds of the word. After they have done this, have them write the words with the markings while they say the sounds. Have the students explain the markings to you. Use the sheets from the resource tab as a reference if needed.

Using these words: flower, foxes, spider, snake, and toad- and have them write an original sentenc using the 5 parts of a sentence. See resource on sentences for review of a sentence.
