Assignment Description

Today you should practice your phonemes as explained in the video link included below. Mrs Kilpatrick has done an amazing job explaining the different ways to practice phonemes. This week your student should practice writing the phonemes 1-55. Use the “72 Phonograms” sheet nearby so you can be sure the sounds are being said correctly. As you say each letter, have your student write the letter. If they hesitate or can’t remember all of them easily, just make note of that. When you’re finished going through the whole page, the circledl/missed letters become your focus list for the rest of the week. If you want a quick walk-through on how this looks in action, be sure to watch the attached video. Reminder spend about 15 min on this task. Also, review the 5 parts of a sentence: What is a sentence? A sentence is a group of words that have a: SUBJECT, PREDICATE, MAKES SENSE, STARTS W A CAPITOL, and FINISHES W END MARK.
