Literary Essentials

Assess the students on the sounds they have been practicing this week. Assess them in the same way they were assessed from Monday (written or read).
Use yesterday’s introduced words. Say each word and have the students repeat after you and identify the sounds of the word. After they have done this, have them write the words with the markings while they say the sounds. Have the students explain the markings to you. Use the sheets from the resource tab as a reference if needed.
