Assignment Description
Print or use the map sent home to practice drawing the 7 continents. This learning technique is called "blob mapping." We are starting the continents as blobs and will continue to practice with more details over the next few months. Students can trace the map, a piece of printer paper placed over the document works well. If they are feeling ambitious , students can draw the map on a blank piece of paper. Ask the students to tell you which continent is which or ask them to show you the different continents when you name them.
