Assignment Description
Today in Ancient History, students completed a Chapter 38 quiz and then worked as historical “investigators” to analyze the collapse of the Late Bronze Age civilizations. They examined Egypt, the Hittites, Assyria, Babylon, and Elam, using textual evidence to determine how famine, war, trade failure, and weak leadership combined to weaken these empires. Students practiced identifying key leaders, ranking causes of decline, and supporting their conclusions with evidence from the text.
