•This Section begins today, Monday, November 10th and ends Friday, December 12th.
•It will last 4 weeks and consist of 20 total lessons: 8 in class and 12 at home.
•The Land of Hope reading will consist of pages: 127-131, 138-150, 158-168.
•There will be a project for the Alamo (instructions to be provided) due on Monday, December 15th.
•This section will cover: the presidency of Andrew Jackson, the Mexican-American War, and expansion to the Pacific Ocean under the banner of “manifest destiny,” along with the issues associated with such expansion.
