Assignment Description
Today students mapped the major kingdoms of the ancient world and compared how each civilization held power. They examined whether societies are held together best by fear, loyalty, shared belief, law, or military strength. Students discovered that civilizations rose and fell alongside one another, and that the way a kingdom gains power often determines how long it lasts.
