Scripps Spelling Bee List

Hi! We are going to expand our spelling ability and vocabulary by studying the words from the Scripps National Spelling Bee list of words. I will introduce 10 words a week, 5 on Tuesday and 5 on Thursday. We will briefly discuss the spelling and meaning of each word. At home students can spend 15-20 minutes working on learning the spelling. Each class at Saints will be participating in a spelling bee, so this is great practice. We will start with the 4th grade list and then move onto 5th grade and beyond. Each list contains 50 challenging grade level words.
