-Why was Madison's personality not suited for an early presidency marked by war?
-How were the attacks by the Native Americans more complicated than simple violence?
-What were the major events in the War of 1812 and how did each one effect the result of the war? Did the Treaty of Ghent signal a victory or defeat?
-Why did these events, and the Madison/Republican presidency lead to the end of the Federalist party?
