Think of it like a big page from a comic book

Project Description

Choose one adventure from The Children’s Homer (such as Odysseus and the Cyclops, Hector and Achilles, the Trojan Horse, or Odysseus’ return home). Create a poster-sized retelling of the story that includes both words and images.

You will:

1. Retell the story in your own words (short, clear narration).
2. Illustrate key scenes so that your audience can “see” the adventure.
3. Add details such as character names, settings, and short quotations from the book.

Poster Requirements

• Size: standard poster board.
• SECTIONS:
• Title & Episode (e.g. “Odysseus and the Cyclops”).
• Narration Box: your 2 paragraph retelling (typed or handwritten neatly).
• Illustrations: at least 2 labeled drawings/scenes.
• Quotations: at least 2 short quotes from the book (written on the poster).
• Hero’s Thoughts: 1–2 sentences showing what a character may have been thinking or feeling.
