Assignment Description
Think of it like a big page from a comic book
Project Description
Choose one adventure from The Children’s Homer (such as Odysseus and the Cyclops, Hector and Achilles, the Trojan Horse, or Odysseus’ return home). Create a poster-sized retelling of the story that includes both words and images.
You will:
- Retell the story in your own words (short, clear narration).
- Illustrate key scenes so that your audience can “see” the adventure.
- Add details such as character names, settings, and short quotations from the book.
Poster Requirements
- Size: standard poster board.
- SECTIONS:
- Title & Episode (e.g. “Odysseus and the Cyclops”).
- Narration Box: your 2 paragraph retelling (typed or handwritten neatly).
- Illustrations: at least 2 labeled drawings/scenes.
- Quotations: at least 2 short quotes from the book (written on the poster).
- Hero’s Thoughts: 1–2 sentences showing what a character may have been thinking or feeling.
