Week 15: Climate and Seasons

Read DK Earth p. 34-35: Climate Practice Poem "The Four Seasons" Due Tuesday 12/16 The short days of winter are filled with cold and snow. In spring, it warms as the flowers begin to grow. The long days of summer are hot and green. In fall, the changing leaves create a beautiful scene. Climate Report: Research the climate in which you live. Gather the following information: average annual rainfall, the typical weather patterns, and the average monthly temperatures for the year. Bring your research to class. Students will write a brief paragraph which should include their research and any other information they find interesting. Due Thursday, December 11th.
