Goal: Introduce physical geography (Atlantic → Mississippi), Columbus’s voyage, and the idea of resources/advantages for civilization. Begin personal maps and timelines.

- Finish reading assigned section if needed.
- Written narration (½ page): “Describe what Columbus saw and why it mattered.”
- Add labeled features from class to personal map (color neatly).
