Assignment Description
Today we studied Achilles’ grief and the Shield of Achilles from The Iliad. Students explored how Homer’s art shows both the beauty and brokenness of life, and—drawing on C.S. Lewis’s ideas—how even ancient stories can reflect humanity’s deep longing for peace and restoration.
