Call of the Wild - Scenes of Buck's Journey #2-3

Students should be prepared to repeat the tableau exercise from 9/15. The two new tableau topics will be "The man with the red sweater teach Buck the 'law of club'" and "Buck learns to sleep in the snow". To prepare, ask your student to connect with how they felt during this portion of the book. See if they can articulate the changes Buck experienced in each of these important conflicts. If they need more examples for their Letter to the Judge (Due 9/24) they can incorporate any of these tableau examples along with their own.
